Hey guys,

I'm Ai, friends call me eyeball... Been a lurker for awhile but i've finally got my bike Ls . totally new to bikes and what not so hoping to learn more!

Had my first lesson with Mark @ Elite on monday and it was pretty full on..
Basically we did a quick run down of the bike, 1st gear riding and stopping in a line, then moved on to U turns. Next learnt how to change gears and did laps. Finally did a few E stops before heading back.

I've noticed that i need to work more on balance while riding slow... pretty unco atm until it gets up to about 20ish.. Also i'm leaning the wrong way into U turns so i tend to turn the handlebars too tight and the bike stops..

Anyway was very exciting lesson and can't wait for the next one

Try looking where you want to go when doing your U's, slow control does take a while to master, so don't worry too much

The excitement doesn't pass. It might become a regular part of every day though.

Dont worry about taking time for the slow control. As you go along it will get easier, just remember to keep practising it. Even after you get your licence.
