Hey all,
I've been lurking the forums for a while now so i thought i'd make a post.
I have a pagsta 50cc, that's right, one of those horrible chinese death-traps.
I'm going to pick up the exhaust i had fabricated today, i've bored in intake port and manifold, and the same to the exhaust port, changed the oil out for fully synthetic, iridium spark plug, pod filter and high performance (lol) CDI and ignition coil. High volume oil pump and oil cooler are on the way.
When i got the bike it did 60kmph max and struggled up hill, after a carby tune it did 70 and now i'm pushing 90 with the stock head, cam and piston.
For those who don't know, this DADYW engine is actually a honda Z50R.

I've got a t03 and a bunch of silicone couplers and mandrel bends here, who dares me?

Anyway, it's the first bike i've ridden since i was a teenager, and I got it for free so i'm not complaining.

the major problem is what happens to the chinese frame when the front hits the ground, but we'll come to that.

It is not a Honda engine. It is a copy of a Honda engine. Many chinese companies make them. Some are better than others.
Its kinda like the $10 Rolex watch idea.

Do you get it? Because i have mixed the Chinese and Honda to make one word that sounds catchy and explains what they are. It also employs the same naming technique that counterfeiters use when they copy a product!

ok so it's not made by honda, i get that, but it's the same design, same cam specs and heavily restricted ports. i'm just trying to get the best out of a free 50cc without ripping it out and putting something useful like a postie bike motor in.

on a side note, is a t03 too large for a 50cc, i'm wondering about the massive amount of lag it's going to cause until it see's + pressure, is there any way to retard timing to produce missfire so i can see boost at idle for launch or am i dreaming?

You may find that Honda has received money and those engines are legal copies.

Study up on turbocharging. I can give you lots of technical reasons why its not straightforward, and the engine will have a very limited life (even if you could get oil up to and away from the turbo). As a joke project you intend to blow up, it may be fun. You would be lucky to get 2 psi and an extra 2 hp though.
