Hey there Peeps and Peepettes - New to Perth & PSB

    Heya,

Just dropping in to say hi as I navigate around the forum.

I am new to Perth, just ventured from Brisbane, over east as all you WA people say.... as if I am from another country ;op

Well I ride a 1098s and I am not patriotic to the brand 'Ducati' - Any bike is a good ride and if you love your own ride then a big thumbs up. I'm not out for the whole 'make and model' war - 'mine is bigger and better than yours' compitition and all that blah blah blah hahaha. I'm just keen to make friends, go for epic social rides and make some memories full of laughter as I get to know this city.

I am highly social and dont keep to one type/genre of people classified by bike, age, nationality or riding style so feel free to chat.

Well thanks for your time in reading and chat soon.

    Craig

Ducati riders don't have time to be picky about other peoples bikes due to all the maintenance do they?

Welcome to wa. As sprint said, the best roads are down this way so if you get a chance, come check them out.

morning, good to see a duc rider who doesn't have their head stuck up their termi's
Hope you like PSB, I moved over from Qld almost a decade ago, WA isn't too bad, just watch out on the roads, the standards are much lower.
In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.

    Hahaha,

PBF: = Funny guy with jokes and stuff ;op I heard that in the days back when..... Ducatis like to have electricl issues ect... But crossed fingers, no problems yet for my 1098s.

Barfridge: Haha so Perth has some Duc riders thinking their #2 dont sting hey... I have met plenty of guys on cruisers that would sweep the floor with me and my Ducati on twisties. "It's not all about the bike" I learnt years ago and seeing boy racers laught at 60 year old men on their cruisers then watching said 60 year old men drop down onto the inside on a corner of said boy racer then exiting at double the speed has taught me much hahahahaha. There will always be some one out there that can ride smoother and more consistantly than the guys with this years model and a big mouth ;op

Karen: Hahaha sometimes it's annoying, those Termi's thumping away, some stare and smile while others curse and frown... but alas.... My bikes oout of town so it wasnt I that you heard, disappointing I know ;op. I ride EVERY day so when my Duc is back from Wayne at Bunbury Ducati this week I will def tempt you. I get lost as I am new to Perth so I will just follow if I can keep up hehe.

This forum seems sweet, im going to stick around, people seem chillaxed

Say I am trying to get my head around MAD and this turn out at yamaha in Dec, I read about it in "The Loop". Is that day a social ride or a meet and greet thing?

Welcome, a good way to meet people: Stoney's ride - next one: 1st Dec Follow the rules, play nice & you'll have PSB friends in no time. In answer to your q. MAD = Make a Difference; charity focused on funding research & into the recovery of spinal injuries; I'm not the best person to ask, haven't had a lot to do but read this forum, should answer most of your questions. Cheerio!
