    Heyo

Hey been on here for a little while now, figured im probably gonna stay on here for a while now so ill introduce myself!

Im Mark and in 19, work as a third year apprentice chef,
dont have too much bike experience whatsovever to be brutally honest.

only ridden a few 4 wheelers..
(crashed one off of a cliff in bali and nearly died a few years back.. hahah.. mark hanging onto a tree branch with a 4 wheeler hanging off of my ankles.. farrkin scary after about a 30m hillside decent through dodging trees and boulders..)

other than that i used to own a sexy little Vmoto Monza haha used that to get to work and back at 16-17.. then i got into my car license and the love of my little unpowerfull scooter died out a little..
    haha

this year i purchased a 2009 Honda Civic VTI-L Black.. which i love to bits and pieces.. but i really feel like somethings missing when your driving.. the feel for the environment. hence the Want and NEED for a bike.
    hah..

im about 190cms so reasonably tallish but meh.

Im not into mechanics so much.. but i know i have a great brain and capacity to learn hah
obviously looking for a 250 and want a sport road bike.. something about them just makes them look good even though they are really just as shite as scooters haha but itll get me through the first year or three till im not satisfied any more (probably want more power after the first day.. arrrgh)

Bikes i was looking at have been kwaka ninjas or cbrr just not too sure.. litte scared of getting on a bike from 1990's haha.. i tend to want the best of everything .. kind of a yuppy in a non yuppy town..

so yeah.. any advice on that?

look foward to meeting you all one day out on the roads haha

    Hi Fellow Newbie.

I'd recomend a trip to the Perth Causeway shops to sit in most major brands before you set your heart on something. At 193cm myself I can tell you that I found the Ninja and CBR had some of the lowest seats around. The riding position wasn't too bad though, but I'm used to hunching myself over a Cannondale road bike (pedal power).

    Good Luck in the search

welcome man, im sure you will be pleasantly suprised when i tell you that 250 motorbikes are much more powerful than you seem to think.
    50cc scooter= 70-85km/h
    250cc sports bike = 170-190km/h

anyway welcome and enjoy your stay mate!
