    Hi All, New to Perth & riding

    Hi all,

    Have just moved to Perth and bought myself a 2010 Hyosung GT250R , Taking lessons at the moment and i'm booked in for the 20th Dec for my R E License.

    I bought the bike to do the daily commute from westminster to the CBD, never ridden on the road before.

    That's about all i can think of for now

    That's fantastic, I'm not confident enough on the road or on my own bike for that matter just yet, but i've got one lesson tonight with an instructor on the road on his yamaha scorpio then hopefully i can join next weeks ride.

    Had my 2nd lesson last night, first time on the road with traffic, i absolutely loved it, my instructor said after my third lesson this coming Monday i'll be fine to join you for your beginner rides, looking forward to it

    Very silly question, but i'll ask anyway, is it possible to be shadowed by someone with their full bike license , but they are in a car instead of a bike?
    Having the bike in the garage and not being able to ride it is killing me, and my friend who has had his full R license for 6 years doesn't currently own his own bike so can't take me out. we have a few cars however..

    Or if anyone is bored this afternoon/tomorrow and wouldn't mind taking me out for a spin, Happy to compensate for their time/fuel etc

    Edit - Just called and found out, Cannot be accompanied by someone in a car as they are slower to get to you if there's an emergency
