    Hi everyone

    New to the forum, been lurking around a few days - some great stuff here.

    I am returning to motorcycling after a break of about 21 years. I have never ridden since I moved here from the UK in 1989.

    I'm ashamed to say that in the UK I never attained my full license. I had a 50cc bike when i turned 16, got a yamaha DT125 when i turned 17, then rode my next series of bikes illegally (a Yamaha RD350LC, Suzuki GS850 and a Kwacker GPZ1100).

    Im older and wiser now and intend to get my license and rediscover my love of motorcycles.

    I impulse purchased a new EFI Hyosung GT250 yesterday (getting it Monday).
    Will go for my Learner R-E tomorrow and am trying to book some training.

    My wife reckons this is my mid-life crisis - but oh well.

    I have only one mate who rides, he has an R class license but has insufficient experience to shadow me. So hoping to make soke shadow connections around vic park also once i have finished my lessons.

    Anyhow - lookin forward to meeting you guys and participating in this great forum.

    Hey Mark, welcome. I'm in Bentley, givvus a yell if u want a shadow I'll actually be going out on a trial run of a ride I have to lead, you're welcome to come along if you want.

    Hi Kristy.

    I will be keen to take you up on your Shadowing offer. Still don't have the bike yet - was meant to get it today but small delay.

    I will def get back to you on that once I have a little confidence on the bike.
