Hi all,

As the title says, I'm new to riding and to the forum even though I've been lurking for a few months.
A little about me?
My name is Brett, I'm 22, 6 ft, athletic build (Kinda..) and a complete newby.
I finally got my learners permit last week, after about 2 hours sitting around in the licencing department.
I haven't sat on any bikes yet but I'm leaning towards the Hyosung GT250. If you have any suggestions or could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm looking for something around $2000, so if you see anything let me know.

Regarding the bike. check out the 250 and 2 stroke sections, plenty of info on there of the different types of bikes available as a learner. If LAMS comes in this year then that will open up some other bikes as well. There seems to be a few ZZR250's and GPX's around the 2-2.5k.

for approx $2000 motorsickle, checkout Perth gumtree. I agree with Sharky, GPX & ZZR's are good learner bikes

I just might look into those stoneville. First I'll have to go to as many bike shops and sit on all the 250cc's. Is there anywhere North of the river with a good range?
