    Howdy!!

    Howdy everyone,

I'm new, as is expected from this thread just thought id pop in and say hi. I live in the southern suburbs and just got my new bike about 3 months ago. $ years ago i started riding on my first bik, an Aprilia RS 125 that i bought new and absolutely loved riding, until 4 days after i got my license i got my first taste of just how everyday drivers really are ignorant. Someone drive through a stop sign with no consideration for me, end story is...broken back, hip and pelvis, broken ribs and punctured lung, shattered spleen (removed) avulsed left kidney...now dead but still there, lecerations on my liver, dislocated knee with lots of tears on ligaments and now 2 recons. Anyways i'm pretty sure im not the only one who's been through the like or similar, just thought id tell my story.

After everything i went through over the last 4 years i decided as soon as i walked out of the court house with my compo, to walk straight in the nearest triumph shop and purchase my new lease on freedom. So 4 years on, much to the dismay of my family, i'm back on the saddle. Picked up my new Triumph Daytona 675R and just doing the finishing touches on my big bike license (it's so hard looking at my beautiful bike and not being able to take it out on a nice Sunday cruise alone). I've tricked it up with just about every factory accessory option and i am so in love with it, as i'm sure all of us riders are about our individual bikes.

I'm hoping to come on here and meet some new people, go on some awesome rides, find new tracks to follow, and most importantly for me, learn everything i can about my bike, bikes in general, and eveything that goes with it. I want to continue to learn and gain knowledge from all the vast amounts of people that know so much more than i do. The one thing i can pass on that all of you already know....expect the unexpected, cos if you don't it might just cost you your life, or your livelyhood.

Anyhoo, I hope you enjoy the photo, there's still a little more i'm doing to her....black bolt kit, some more carbon features etc so i'll keep them updated as they happen. Look forward to chatting to you all.

True, but if science had the funds religion has enjoyed for eons we might have better explanations by now, or at least hover shoes.
