Kia Ora
Hey, this is my first foray onto PSB, though we've been living & riding in Perth for the last 2 years.
I'm still a (slow) learner rider, tho I've been on the back of bikes for the last 20-something years. Have a Yammy Virago 250, & also a Mighty Postie. My husband did have a Versys till some dirty toerag snatched it last week. Previous to that, we had a prehistoric FJ1200.
And yes, my topbox IS a beer crate. Wooden.

Thanks for the welcome! We're from Matamata...well, my husband's a Yank, but he's become a surrogate expat Kiwi now!

Thanks for such a warm welcome! We'd almost given up on Perth after the burglary, so it's nice to know there are decent folk out there (& that most of 'em ride bikes). And yes, I do mean Hobbitron. I'm short, but I swear I don't have hairy feetses.
And hey, Zadok - we used to love riding over the Kaimais to the hot saltwater pools at the Mount!

G'day mate
I'm a Pom originally, but lived in Godzone for 8 years before moving to Perth 5 1/2 years ago. We lived mainly in Jaffaland, but had a spell living in Hastings and in Palmy. we had good friends in Rotorua, so passed by Matamata regularly.
Welcome from another newbie
Mike
Oh, sorry to hear about your burglary. Don't let it put you off Perth. It's a great place with (mostly) great people.

Welcome, plenty of Kiwis on here I reckon. I'm ex-Te Atatu, that's West Auckland for those of you who don't know or have forgotten. Shame about the bike theft. I know the gutted feeling quite well.
Not sure I went to Matamata too often, although I did spend quite a few w/ends in Te Aroha...must be close by. Anyway, take it easy and stay safe.Justine.... Always and Forever
