Love this site
Hi everyone, happy to be a new member here, superb site, love the content.
Been off bikes for a little while but have owned the following:
Yam RS125
Yam RD250LC
Honda XL250S
Kwak GPZ500S
Kwak GPX600
Yam FZR1000EXUP
Duc M900
Aprillia Moto - its a styling exercise by Phillipe Starck, looked better than it went as it was based on the Pegaso 650 (quite enjoyed owning it to be honest!)
Lambretta Li125
The highlights of above list were definitely the LC and the EXUP, madness!
Looking for a bike now, maybe a K75 or another duke but don't have oodles to spend, something'll come up I'm sure.

Hi Pengy.
Welcome! I'm fairly new too and don't get a lot of time to sit in front of a computer hence few posts from me!
I have a neat RD250LC with a rebuilt motor (top and bottom end) less than 100km so far so not run in), which I'm looking at selling to fund another project. I was going to get the tank and plastics sprayed with new decals prior to sale but am considering otherwise, as figured I may sell it to a spray painter who is more capable and has more time.
It's ready to pit/register which I'll do prior to sale.
PM me if you're interested, as well as anyone else reading this post!

Good times! Remember riding around with a jubilee clip squeezing the oil feeder tube half shut so it wouldn't look like a smoking chimney and that was with the oil pump on its lowest setting (yes, was probably a fault with the autolube system)...it's certainly tempting but probably too hyper for me, looking for something (a little) more relaxed. Good luck and well done for preserving some m/cycle heritage. Pengy.

Maybe a 350 oil pump on a 250??!! I can see why it would be smokey, then again, haven't had much to do with auto lube.
I run premix on my 350, the 250 also is at the moment, but once run in I'll switch it over to autolube.
No probs with the sale, I may have someone interested, and if not, will pop on on here and will no doubt sell quickly. Keep an eye out in the next week or two.
