New to Bikes (again)

Hi all. Only got into road bikes 2 months ago. Picked up an 04 R1. Basically stock. Had carbon micron slip-ons. Wanting to do a few mods and wanted to know the best places around to go for parts. I looked around with searches everywhere and can't seem to find that much for 04's. I'm sure it's just me looking in the wrong place. Was looking at getting the mircon Y pipe to get rid of the cat. But they went out of business now and didn't have one in stock left over. What Y pipe should I go for and where do I go to find it?

The other things I wanted to do was velocity stacks, filter and then the PC. So it has everything before I bother getting it tuned. Also how good are the adjustable steering dampers that bolt on the top of the forks. And which one is better to go for? Just want some advise on where to get all this stuff and what brands are the better to go for.

Welcome...back......check in with 5 star Yamaha in Rockingham. If you are lucky Matt Battista is in and he can help you with everything R1. He used to race them quite successfully...
