New Member, Bunbury, Ninja 250 08
Hey everyone, my name's Codi, I'm from Bunbury. I work as an operator at a coal mine in Collie. I will be in Perth next year for university at Curtin.
I ride a black 08 250 Ninja, perfect little starter bike for me, is my first bike.
Saw the website sticker on a blue R1 in Wayne Patterson's Ducati in Bunbury and thought I'd come check the club out.
My bike is stock at the moment, have an Area P full exhaust on order in carbon fiber and am planning to fit that as well as remove the intake snorkle on the air box and use a jetting kit on the carby.
Also planning on removing the front reflectors and replacing them with stock allen key fairing bolts and doing the chop on the rear fender.
Hopefully that will be it for this bike, don't wanna spend too much as I'm already keen for a bigger bike haha.
Hopefully Patto's should be able to do the dyno tuning for me, if not Pro-Flow Motorcycles have been recommended to me.
Think thats all for now I think, so yeah hope to get along to a cruise sometime and meet some of the other members .

Yer thanks for the welcome's guys. It's proving to be a very popular bike Alpha so like you said I shouldn't have any problems with resale in the future.
Thats right Kwakas, saving my money for the bigger bike, and the riding gear, goin in tomoro to get a nice jacket , also got my eye on a new helmet

Welcome to PSB.
Could you et me know where you end up getting your tuning done and how much it costs you?
I'll be doing similar modifications on my GPX250 sooner or later, whenever I eventually decide to fit my exhaust slipons (though I'll probably remove the airbox entirely and switch to pod filters), and I'm trying to decide whether to get the carb tuning done professionally or have a go at it myself.
I'm usually near Bunbury for around 3 months each year, so I don't mind getting it done down there.

Hey ld357, Patto's don't normally do dyno tuning on non efi bikes but I'm hoping they can make me an exception to save me running to Perth. Also like I said Pro-Flow in Perth were recommended to me, apparently they run the fastest ZX-10 in the country so they might know a thing or two.
Thanks for the welcome Cal looks like you got a nice stable there mate, all in red too nice work .
Haha you've got the complete riding family Stoneville

Gday Cody,
Enjoy your time here. There are plenty of us riding around Collie/Bunbury area. I wouldn't even bother stuffing about with the 250, it'll still be gutless. I just rode mine until I could afford a decent big bike. They are excellent learners bikes, but the suspension etc is a little ordinary on the GPX, not sure about the new Ninja though.
Anyhow check in the Loop and the Country run section for rides. I normally ride to and from work (Worsley) so might see you on the road.
take it easy and keep the rubber side down.
Ryan

I'm only planning on the exhaust, jetting and tune, with fender eliminator or chop.
That will do me for this bike
Yer might see ya up the hill, watch out for roos mate haha im about to leave soon to ride up.
