Hi, my names Josh, I'm 19 and I've had my R-E license for just over a month now.
In my first 2 months of riding i've had a few moments that haven't been the most pleasant, but thus far I'm loving being a bike owner.

Hello.
What moments have been unpleasant?
Howdy xLitton -
Luckily you're riding a HYOSUNG - so all is good.
It can be nerve wrecking the first few times you go out, but that's good - it should keep you on your toes.
Safe riding and welcome.
Welcome aboard and congrats. Best thing you can do to insulate yourself from the idiots (and there are a lot of them) is to improve your riding skills. Something like the Advanced Ride Day Motorcycle advanced ride day | RAC Driving Centre | Defensive driving, 4WD, truck, forklift, towing, and motorcycle courses available or a trackday.
Enjoy.
"Democracy means simply the bludgeoning of the people by the people for the people"
First time I took the bike out for a ride; I travelled from success, to midland and out to Nedlands. On my way from Midland to Nedlands, travelling down Lord Street I got pulled over by Police. Only just having bought the bike, getting my license 2 day prior and managing to lock my rear brakes at the traffic lights while behind them before pulling me over. I had no idea what was going to happen. They ever so politely slapped a yellow sticker around my clutch cable and said put a P plate on the front of my bike (to which I argued "Where?") turns out that one of the previous owners did a dodge on the fender and had sawn half of it off, essentially a home-made fender eliminator, and they weren't too sure about my exhaust.
Driving home from work last week there were 2 kids hanging out the passenger and rear passenger window screaming obscenities and flapping their arms like lunatics, they also did this to the rider in front of me (Heading through the tunnel on Graham Farmer)
I've had multiple cars pull out in front of me over the past months, I am consequently very fond of my front brake now.
Lastly, only yesterday I went for a joy ride before picking some things up from the shops and learnt that gravel on a turn is not friendly, luckily my bike gripped the road before completely slipping out from underneath me, but it got my heart pumping.
Question asked... Question answered...
Welcome. Stick with it long enough and you'll forget those moments five minutes after they happen (If you notice them at all). Just assume everyone is out to get you (ALL road users, even the two wheeled ones), give us all a nod if you see another bike and enjoy the hell out of it!
Don't call me spawn of satan...I may be the spawn of Satan,
but I have a name!

Yep, you better get used to things like that it's all pretty typical behaviour for copa and cagers in Perth.
Well done for keeping it upright on the gravel, it pays to look ahead through the corners to try and spot potential hazards. This will give you a chance to avoid them.
Welcome.

Welcome.
All part of the learning curve.. but wait.. it does get worse.
Enjoy motorcycling.
All of these minor incidents so far i've just adopted as something to learn from and accept they will probably happen quite frequently.
Quite often they're out my head 2 minutes after happening.
Riding a motorbike is just blissfully exhilerhating.
Thanks for showing the love guys.

Yup pretty much how it goes. Done that a few times, one was near Crystal brook road and there was a pretty long bend so i was all meh let's knee down, got 3/4 of the way around before almost taking out by a 4x4 would have been about 1 foot from me..shat my self at first then 2 minutes later i was doing it again.
Work to ride, and ride to work.
