Newbie

[R1000]

Hi ! I'm new in this forum and would like to introduce myself and the bikes. Living in Sweden at 53 years young, and having two bikes. One GSX R1000 -03 and a Bird -97. The later is undergoing some mods this winter. Fork is overhauled and provided with full length WP springs. A new rear shock is on, a Hyperpro 041, which is fully adjustable. On the engine side a head is on porting and will get new cams, and the exhaust is changed to an Akrapovic full 4-2-1 system. The bike runned well last year but I hope to find some more beans this year. The bike has been runned on Metzeler Roadtech Z6's until know, and will get Michelin Pilot Power 2CT this year. About 50 days remaing until spring is here :-).

In 2005 I was in NSW on a seminar and got a week of and rented a Triumph Sprint 955i. It was a great trip and I visited Blue Mountins and a few other real nice locations. I hope to do this again some time, there is so much to see in AU.

Some beautiful riding in Sweden, too - around Jonkoping and up through Los to Kiruna was pretty special...
