Firstly, what a cool forum!
How many members ya got on here? 100's hey?
Anyway I'm new to biking, bought a Hyo GT250R (prepares for flaming! ) few weeks back and quite happy with it.
Just a quick question - whats the best form of lock for a bike, most effect etc?

Welcome mate Try 1000's of wonderful PSB members. Nothing wrong with the Hyo just as long as ya get rid of it after a year before they start falling to bits
Lock wise..... well a big fuck off chain attached to a lump of cement. But just get yourself a good disk lock and take care in where ya park it.
See ya out there

Hey Donza, welcome aboard.
If you're leaving it parked up against something, a kryptonite cable and heavy padlock.
If it's for just whenever you park it at some random spot, get a disk lock. But DEFINITELY get yourself a flouro curly cord for it. Runs from the lock to the throttle grip to say "Hai thief, annoy someone else!" and also to remind you not to take off with the lock still in place.

I actually have a Kryptonite chain and lock...
I use the lock seperately as a disk lock...well I actually put it thru rear sprocket...

Donza ... If you are going to purchase a disk lock (highly recommended) a word of warning from the worldly wise (ie been there done that). It is easy to forget that the disk lock is on ... and you take off ... then stop very suddenly!!
I attach a ribbon from the lock to the handlebars as a reminder (you can also buy a coiled up plastic line specifically for this task, but ribbon works for me). Its saved me many times.
PS: Welcome to PSB.
