just a quick one to say if you're into Ducati sportbikes do yourself a favour a read the Ducati 1098 / 1198 Redefined book. also has a section on the development of the 848. its a top read, can get it from Pitstop. some real interesting stuff on the 916 and where they think they went wrong on the 999.

Yeah I've read all three of these books and they're a little humm-harr. Some interesting stuff in there but not exactly an engaging read. Dunno how they managed to make a book with so many words say so little.

Yea full of marketing wank. You can only read it in small portions.
