well even with the woeful exchange rate atm $14k US = $20k AUS ... so wheres the extra 4+ grand coming from then eh...

Shipping to the States compared to Australia is bound to be cheaper, taxes etc.
848 here is 21,495 + orc or 23,000 inc, so there really isn't that much difference price wise to the States. The states will have duties etc the price quoted is usually pre orc.

1198 is $500.00 more for them than the 1098. They had their big increase from 2007 model to 2008 ($1000). Lucky for them their dollar is still going okay against the Euro. Is there any prices for them in Australia yet?
