2nd hand 848's?
Anybody know of any Ducati 848's for sale in Oz 2nd hand?
bikesales.com.au doesnt have the 848 as an option when you search.
Any leads would be great, thanks.

Yeah nope, had a look yesterday too.
Guess I'm just curious as to why there are quite a few 1098's for sale but no 848's.

also 1098 has been out for longer than the 848... I wouldn't expect to see too many 848's around for at least another 6 months or so... even that might be pushing it..
you may have more luck over east.

Yeah, buy a new one. There are virtually none for sale S/H. I think there's still a bit of a waiting list for 848's and a second handy will be nearly the same price. You'll save on dealer delivery getting a second hand one and that's about it I reckon. I've seen 1098's getting close the the on road cost of a 848....

A few tricked up, value for money 1098's for sale if you're interested in that option.
Otherwise talk to Graham at Frasers. He is a good bloke and will help you with the 848

what you save on dealer delivery you'll get stung on stamp duty.
They're not old enough for there to be decent savings compared to the wear and tear. You're better off going new

This is 6-8 months down the track, was just doing some "research" and found it odd....but forgot about how new they are.
I guess by the time I'm ready there may well be a few used ones going around with enough of a saving to not bother going new.
