    749 Paint codes

I applied a Cutgrafix race plate sticker to the front nose cone like this one

but I am not happy about the quality (probably more about my application than the product) so I have bought a new gloss black nose cone and want to get it painted the same to match the monoposto seat race plate.

So does anyone know the red and white paint codes for the 05 749 and any recommendations for a good painter would be helpfull aswell.

Can't you peel the sticker off and apply a new one?

You can download the owners and parts manual from the Ducati site. I think they have the paint codes inside.
Click here to see my Ducati 999R in the PSB garage... You'll love it!

Don't click here to see my ZX9R aka The Ginger Ninja... there's no link!

Yea I could Rod but I am not sure I would be happy with a sticker anyway, it really was a test to see if it suited the bike but since I have bought a new nose cone I will keep the original one stock and get the new one painted. I didn't think to look in the owners manual I'll check it out.

    Thanks

I used a cutgrafix kit on mine DJ. Wasn't happy with the way i applied the front plate, so contacted him for a replacement. sent out virtually a whole new kit for cost , great service.
However i've come to the same conclusion as you, NEXT time i'll paint it.

As far as paint codes go , they only ever seem to be a guide. Think you'll find any painter worth his salt will mix his own to match.

Yea I had to stretch the hell out of it to make it fit right , it did come out pretty good but not as nice as the rear monoposto race plate so while I have the luxury of the new nose cone I will get it painted and save the original in the wardrobe with all the other original parts.
I did find the paint code for red in the owners manual thanks to Rod but the painter will have to colour match the white.
