    Alchemys available

2 alchemys for sale in WA at the moment.

An SV2 has been advertised for a while ,plus on Ebay, for $13k. Really really really rare. A great concept.

Another (an SV1 I believe - according to chassis no.) has just popped up for sale in the South West. Apparently with a genuine Mille engine for about the same price. Really really rare.

Both in the Quokka this week

Anyone ever seen a Squalo? I think that was their best bike to date.

That's the regular Squalo, not the super one.
Click here to see my Ducati 999R in the PSB garage... You'll love it!

Don't click here to see my ZX9R aka The Ginger Ninja... there's no link!

Yes, the original Squalo is the one I like and was referring to.

The Supersqualo to me was overdone and a disappointing follow up.

Dave owns the squalo, Tony(?, correct me if I', wrong) (super squalo) owns the DB7.

the write up on the squalo above was awesome.

    What's so good about them?
They look like yet another re-framed Duc with ugly, bulbous styling.

that frame weights 3/8 of fark all, ditto the swing arm - both of with made by over racing japan from , memory. the fairing from memory is carbon fibre so again lite weight. its hard to see in the piccies - but the actual bike is very small compared to a stock 900ss carby or efi.

depending on what you wanted to spend, like the earlier alchemy's, you could just supply a donor bike annd get all the parts were used except obviously fame and body work.

that bike was originally a carby 900ss, now a worked 944 with german aftermarket efi plus lotsa other goodies including ohlin back n front

That frame on the original Squalo had a part number at OVER. They were available to the public... may still be able to get it??
The Alchamy, on the other hand, will never be made again! Unforunately the frame jig was cut up to make another..

I think the SV2 is the model name for the Squalo from memory. The race specific kits were RV1 etc.
As to what's so good about them? They were made locally, and recognised on the world stage for a moment.....I think one actually went to the US and kicked some ass at Daytona's BOTT. (Engine mods also by Mr B Henry)
They are kind of like the motorcycling equivalent of the famous winged keel.
The idea of full capacity bevel noise and grunt in a 750F1 dimensioned chassis was pretty attractive at the time.

The one for sale locally looks like a squalo. It was on ebay a month or so ago with a few good pickies all round. Dark blue with wire wheels. Think it was an 860 motor but can't remember for sure.
