Agree - If the DB4 is in fair condition and with those extras it must be good value at that price. Those extras would make a meaningful difference from stock
Perdition, your bike looks fine judging by the pics and your extras, however I don't reckon I'd have the budget for something like that as a second bike....(I'm keeping the YB8 too) :-)
....Local SV2 alchemy in the Quokka this week again... :-)
I own the 1st Alchemy SV1 on the road, frame n.o 2. Here's a photo taken at the Nov 08 Italian M/C display.
There is no SV2 that I know of..
true, sv1 street, rv1 race.
nice bike.
Here's why I described the second street model as the SV2 - from Performance Cycles 1994. This was a side bar on an article about a hottish SV1 in the East. It appears that the newer model in the concept images became known as the Squalo.

This is Owen Coles on the RVI race bike at Bunbury round the houses race (sadly this event is no more) in 1988 or 1989

that looks like the bevel engine that veetwo converted to a belt drive...
I found these by chance on my work PC today, so I thought I'd post them for the few Alchemy fans.
I believe this was the one for sale in March. I grabbed these from ebay at around that time.
Brook was describing to me how he couldn`t get that particular motor to work after setting it all up. Just wouldnt fire up. He then realised he needed to (from memory ) machine cams in reverse due to the oppisite rotating direction the cams now turned due to the belt drive.
So just whipped up some cams, and bingo !
Wish I had the machines and skill to do stuff like that !
There is a "stripped bare" Alchemy on the track with some nice gear bolted to it. Another one will be out there 2011.
