Considering getting termis for the 900SS and I am torn between the Alloy or carbon ones. I have decided to go hi-rise but just cant make up my mind on the cans.
    What does everyone think?????

If you plan on keeping it for a long time, go Ti or Stainless. If you plan on selling in the next 2 years carbon fibre, alloy is ok but scratches easier and has a tendancy to vibrate rivots loose.

Yep, I'd go the Titanium Termi's too. Oh, hang on, I did.

Yep, hugger, clutch cover, sprocket cover, chain guard. The belt guard is a custom black anodised thingy.

I am concerned about carbon overload. There never was a decision to make before I saw the picture of the 1000ds in the 2007 Catalogue and the carbon cans looks good in that pic.

Reckon I have 2 years on this bike. Hardly ride it...it is a real toy.

but if you buy another bike you can have Ti on one and CF on the other.

    cool, another problem solved.

I have some 50mm Titanium cans sitting here...

So buy a bike to suit them?

Wicked, I like the way you think.

I have aluminium ones on my '05 SS, and they look just fine... but if I had known at the time that you could get them in Ti, I would have done that instead - IMHO they look heaps better. I'm told the carbon ones give a deeper sound than the ally ones, but seriously - I think any terms on a 2 valve duc engine sound farking fantastic.
