Reserve not yet met. They could be asking $USD65k for all we know.

Don't click here to see my ZX9R aka The Ginger Ninja... there's no link!

Yeah you do see them go quite cheap in the states from time to time. Too bad you can't import em.

1500+ kms.. Be ready for a new engine soon though

Say what? Their exhaust laws must be very different over there, I can't imagine any ducati being 80 dB at >7k RPM.

Pretty tough.. Needs to be a personally owned import (ie you used to live there/had it registered in your name there), or you need to show it's not going on road (ie you need to take all lights/indicators etc etc off and get a permit).

The other way is you can get it in if you're a registered importer under particular schemes (primarily VIC and QLD)... Very tough for an individual though.

Anything pre 1989 is a lot easier though.

At least this is my meagre understanding.

What about it being a limited motorcycle and you cannot no longer purchase new from any dealer, not taking business away from local dealers?

If only it were that easy!... but nah no dice.

Import laws are a bitch. If they were easy we'd all be buying new 1198's from the US for 15 grand.

Granted, but you cannot buy a new DD16R in Australia......unlike the run of the mill 1198 series?

The Import laws are to protect the Australian distributor / importer, so if they cannot provide it question is can you import it??? worth asking.
