Couple of old bikes for sale

This department requires no physical fitness program, as everyone gets more than enough exercise jumping to conclusions, flying off the handle, running down the boss, dodging responsibility, and pushing their luck.

    Yep good collection for sure.

Guess what was living in my shed for a while. Not a replica, but one of the real Imola`s (pic of bike in ute). It was owned by George. A long time ago president of DOCWA. It put my ol 750 Sport to shame !

When I was at the Factory talking to the curator he admitted they were not sure exactly how many of the Imola`s were made. The going theory is 4.
If you get to the museum , and want to stay back when everyone else has been ushered out, get talking to him (curator) about the Cucciolo`s. Such passion for how the factory started.
I then had the place to myself and a small group of 3-4 for what seemed like an hour. Just clicking away and admiring.

    That was nice !

I'd even go for that little 350 Desmo.

My missus looked at me like I was an idiot checking those bikes out ... until I told her we would have to go to Monaco to pick it up. I think she'll be buying lotto tickets for the next couple of months.

It never fails to amaze me when people have such wonderful and historically important collections, and yet they get the year / model of the bike wrong. The SP3 was produced in 1991 only, and that 900 SL looks to be a '93 or later model as it has the champagne coloured frame, low mount rear brake caliper, and standard stainless steel front discs rather than the white frame, high mount rear caliper, and cast iron floaters that the '92 had.

Still nice bikes thought, and I wouldn't say no to any of them.
