Sexxy bike, only $36,000 for the S series and $43,000 for the Tricolor. Why not buy 3?

carbon tri-colour design.... now to check ETA![]()
In my opinion what makes the (majority) of Ducati's pretty is the lack of graphics and vinyls. Just a single colour and a trim colour normally. Keep your bike how it is dude - maybe a CF pan or something.
some very interesting photos have pop up on the 1199 for the Japanese Market
Japan finds the Ducati 1199 Panigale too loud, reconfigures exhaust and clutch cover | Ducati Blog
This time around, the superbike failed to comply with noise regulations of, well, just a country.
To comply with Japanese regulations, Ducati had to install a longer (and ghastlier) exhaust system. They had to do a Japanese-specific engine mapping system, plus they created a new and bigger plastic clutch cover that extends up to the rear cylinder.
The additional parts adds 4 kilos to the 164 kg base weight. The Panigale won’t go on sale in Japan till September 29, 2012, so I guess it really took a while for the Italians to sort this out right.
