Mike Hailwood's bike from 1960. I took about a million pictures whilst I was there.
All Ducati's were originally silver like this. It wasn't until countries were designated
colours for international racing that they adopted red as did Ferrari.
On a side note, the Ducati factory was such an amazing place. The super cute
girl that showed us around the museum and factory floor told us so much stuff
I never realised about Ducati. They originally never made motorcycles! Just radios
and calculators. If you go to Bologna, it is a must see!
