    Ducati Custom Caff Racers

Post pics of some fine examples. I want to get inspired enough to build/mod one to within an inch of it's life.

    Ucats only pretty please.

    k go.

So on the eight day, after wasting time faffing about with unimportant guff like heaven & earth & the waters & sky & creatures [& having a wee kip] & man.... God created PSB (GenesiSX-R1000)

You are a man of refinement and taste. Why mess about when you can go straight to the top of the pile - NCR S.r.l.

I'm not normally a Duc guy, but those guys make me cream my pants.
In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.

Buy my stuff, everything now half price - http://www.perthstreetbikes.com/foru...woofer-144818/

For an out of the crate cafe racer with a large aftermarket of associated parts, you cannot beat the Ducati sport classic 1000.

EDIT: But that doesn't really leave you many options if you want to "Mod it to within an inch of it's life".
I'd be looking at an older 2V Monster as a starting point.

yeah the 2008 and 2009 where dual shock with dual side pipes to cater for a pillion. it is a dual seater, with the hump being a clip on item.

production stopped in 2009 except for the gt1000 (touring version)

i went for the 06-07 model cos it was more raw, it has a dry clutch vs the 08 ones with a wet clutch
and the older model has lower more aggressive clipons whereas the 08+ has the clipons raised 15mm or there abouts

they arent easy to find atm (in fact only 1 2008 model on bikesales) so i was lucky to snap mine up with only 3800kms

Multistrada 1100S's are a good base for a project bike apparantly. They can be fairly cheap to buy and if you're really going to change a lot of bits it's a bit of a waste to start off with an already built bike like a Paul Smart or Sport which would cost a fair bit more.

Just make sure when you build it, it's yellow.
Would contrast the other toys nicely.
