The unsprung weight loss is the primary gain, and really noticeable. The brakes aren't a lot different to stock in terms of sheer braking, just better at late braking on bumps with the less reciprocating mass.
The pads are specific to the CMC rotors, and came with them from Bellissimoto. They are Ferodo - Made in Italy - FDB2218ST. About $100 US a set; ie. $200 US altogether.
The brakes don't give any surprises, no adaptation required. Don't need to warm up, not affected by rain etc. Only (minor) drawback is a small 'groan' sound when pulling up to a dead halt, like at traffic lights. Not really a problem, and a small price to pay. I guess ceramic discs aren't really designed for stopping at traffic lights...

Back to the ETI tank - I can add some info. now having been on a ride today.
Ride included city riding, some easy country riding, and quite a bit of faster stuff (180-240 kmh). I filled it to about 12mm from the top. Fuel light came on at about 230 kms - I rode 53 kms with light on - tank took 19 L. So 283 kms with mixed use; I know I'd be able to get way more than this touring in 5th and 6th.
Pretty happy with that. Manufacturer claims over 21 L, but mine wasn't completely empty, and I didn't want to risk overfilling it and spoiling my paintjob, as there is no overflow pipe. (Standard tank claims 15.5 L - I was only able to fit in 14.7 after I had run out completely...).

I saw the bike from my office window last week and thought you may have bought the street fighter :p but then realised it had just been stripped down.

shhhh, the polic might notice no mirrors... indicators... picking it up Wednesday after dyno. Should have body back this week. Got a new gadget to go with the other bits still sitting in boxes, including the ETi Fuel Cell! The TC pod control module arrived from Comp Systems last week.. Pat1089 looks fine, I can live with that and the added range. Size of the tank also gives me some bling ideas with the candy paint planned.

mmmm ceramic disks? nah, a ladyboi like me don't need that level of bling.

Not very bling - got them in grey with black 'buttons' - to make them less obvious. It's all about the weight; not big on bling..
Heading out for another ride today - just to check the fuel range again of course!
Hope you get yours together Azazl before the good riding weather is over.

Being naked hasn't stopped me getting out...

12000 service was last week, Getting out tomorrow to try out the new Power One B's just put on. Paint should be finished on the original marked body today, then can do the custom on the carbon. With 2 sets of body means less ride downtime.

If you've had a bit of time on the new disks, any difference to original?

Another 300 km round trip today. Loving that fuel range - just not having to even think about fuel anymore makes the ride, well, more just riding. Not having to plan for fuel really frees up your route possibilities, and your head!
Can't add much to the post above about the discs (#41). They just work. I no longer notice the weight loss; the whole thing just works better.
Looking at some adjustable-offset yokes next. The bike is 'tipped' a fair bit, which reduces both rake and trail of course. Reduced offset yokes will restore some of the lost trail, with the added bonus of putting a little more weight-bias onto the front.
