Getting a grip!

Hey all -

Just spent the last few hours putting these onto the 1198S. Took a deep breath, got out the hacksaw and cut 1/4" off the clip-ons so these would fit properly:

Well comfy guys, and that 1/4 inch of aluminium off each end saved at least a few grams haha.

Funny the guy at bunnings.. I was asking him what good hacksaw would get through aluminium clip ons... He was a bike fan, asked me what I had... Oh a ducati eh? Get these, if it's italian it'll cut through it like butter, those wogs use cheese for building bikes. Here's the best one we have, and don't it look pretty?

OEM bar ends on 1198's are gay as, the grips aren't a lot better either... These look nice... I had them sitting in the shed for 9 months coz I was too shit scared to take the hacksaw to the bike... meh, fuck it *hack hack hack*, one new set of grips.
