    GT 1000 seat stuck

Well, I got the rack for the back of my GT 1000 after waiting the FOUR MONTHS for it to come from Italy (must have come by donkey express...). I read the instructions and put it on the bike. All seemed to be going well until I put the seat back on. Now it won't come off again. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is the sort of thing that happens to people like me who fall into the obvious trap of thinking "how hard could it be to put a rack on?" Am I correct in assuming that this has happened before to others, and, if so, can anyone out there tell me what I should do to get the seat off without breaking it?

I had a similar problem with mine... It took an extra set of hands pushing down on the rear of the seat to allow the play required to turn the key. If all else fails... ducati.ms as da man said
