The earlier Daytona 1000's and Daytona Racings had different fairing tail sections etc etc. The last of them the Daytona RS has the same body work as the 1100 sports as it worked a lot be visually IMO anyway. Considering the 1100 sport came out in 1994 it was pretty radical, just another Italian company released a bike that changed the way bikes looked and were designed right up until the present at the same time.
