    Motor Guzzi V7 Racer

Hi All who know more than I....

So the Guzzi V7 Racer does anyone know if they are a limited addition (limited in number rather than limited by lack of buyers) as they seem to be numbered. Also is the chrome tank an option or standard, I think that its the pick of the bunch. Just read an article and they are a limited run and I think Australia are getting like 100....

If any one has one would love to hear how living with it is.

    Cheers

No lack of buyers around 25 sold in Perth alone Chrome tank is standard, although a revised V7 series has been released in Milan the other week, I've only ridden the classic version and there is usually a demo in Perth (of a classic not a racer). It is not a fast motorcycle very smooth and flexible power delivery. The new version supposedly has a few more horses and a metal tank but when it actually shows up nobody knowes.

Thanks chaps..... It would probably be easier to live with than either of mine (S4Rs and Factory Tuono R). Definitely on the list and it looks sooooo nice.

    Ciao

I kinda fancy the idea of one hanging on the wall (or sitting on the floor I guess) in my bedroom.

    The wife will be pleased.

Loved the look of it to start, then saw it IRL and it was a little to busy for my tastes. Would be much happier with the standard cafe or the classic.

The V7 engine gets an update in 2012 2012 Moto Guzzi V7 Models Get New Engine With More Power and Torque « MotorcycleDaily.com – Motorcycle News, Editorials, Product Reviews and Bike Reviews. Also I heard rumors that the V7 racer is to become a permanent fixture in the Guzzi line up.

16k RRP also ride one first they are not a large motorcycle by any stretch of the imagination they are based on the "small block" series which was introduced in the early 80's as a entry level model. The motor and gearbox is the same design and I don't mean a copy or a replica it is the same design so don't expect something with a suzuki like gearbox and honda refinement, well you won't get the electrical faults at least.

Is Italian, aimed at the maffioso pensioners last ride brigade to be able to get to the nearest Dome retail Coffee outlet.
MV Agusta F3 for not a lot more= easy choice!
Looks good, but would not pull the skin of a rice pudding or a gay boy scout of the said pensioner; has "Power" like an Indian Bullet.
    Needs super charger and NOS
Hanging ot on a wall as a bit of art is the way to go!

hmmmm MV Agusta F3 for not a lot more, but its a totally different bike. I am thinking more along the lines of being better than a scooter to get around although its no featherweight. Wish they did it with a little more power to at least approach the air cooled monsters. Oh well I am in no rush. Still have not heard from any one that owns....

Saw one of these in donnybrook a couple of weeks ago, didnt have time to stop and check it out, but had me wondering whether it was a custom job or a factory model. I like it a lot, would earn a place in my theoretical money and storage is no object garage..

I saw one of those yesterday at the Festival Of Italian Motorcycles here (Melbourne). It's a bit overdone IMO. I much prefer that V11 Sport they did a few years ago - red frame with metallic light green bodywork!

Not the same bike, try and find a V11 for sale let alone a grennie meanie look much better in the metal. Forgot to add there is a rumoured well they announced it at their 90th anniversary party recently of a "big block" based cafe racer although when exactly is a little vague.

Don't worry, the gold one was ten years ago. Maybe Sir would prefer the classic style of the Nevada Club??
