    arh ,here it is
C'etait un rendez-vous (English: It was a date) is a short film made in 1976 by Claude Lelouch, showing a nine-minute drive through Paris at 5:30 AM.
Despite (or due to) the limited availability of video tapes, it gained cult status over the years among motoring enthusiasts who admired the experience of speed and the reckless style of driving.
Due to the increasing popularity and the lack of original tapes, the film has recently been re-mastered from the 35 mm negative and released on DVD, as well as being published on the Internet.
This example of a cinéma vérité film was made in a single take with no editing, using a camera attached to the bumper of a car. The length of the film thus was limited by the capacity of the camera reel which lasted under 10 minutes.

Yeah Rendez-vous is an awsome clip, all that driving just to pick up a girl, lol would hate to see if he was in a real rush, lol

As for the Ferrari Add I love it, an oldie but a goodie, wish they had a few more models and it went longer!

God I love the sound of those 8-10 and 12V's pure SEX!!

    FORZA FERRARI!

I seem to recall a few theories that the car driving wasnt a real Ferrari but that the film soundtrack was edited with Ferrari 12 sounds, not sure how accurate that is though

Yeah, apparantly the camera was mounted onto the front of a Mercedes with the audio overdubbed later. Not all that convincing an effort either, if I do say so. I bought the remastered DVD about ten years ago and wasn't very impressed.

Love the Shell/Ferrari one. The windy bridge thing hanging over turbulent seas was done in New South Wales. The shriek of the later cars reverberating through Rio and Monte Carlo is good and reminds me of F1 time in Melbourne - people going about their daily business with F1's screaming in the background!

A great add, especially compared to the horrible panigale add I saw this morning on here.

    Blasphemy.....

How could I have possibly posted something without checking for a re-post from several years ago?....Surely there would have been no new members since then?...I'll start burying myself up to my neck for the stoning...Shit post judging by the responses from some anyway...

You need to realize that there is a microscopic group of PSB "alpha posters" who assume that everything that is posted on PSB is there for their personal and specific interest. If it is something they have read previously, they react in derogatory fashion; despite the fact that there are countless other members who may not have seen said post.
