Saw a Squalo today at Bindoon. Looked like a over-priced hodge podge of parts. I didn't like it. Originally didn't know what the fuck I was looking at, as it looked like a Hailwood Rep at a glance. Once I realised it was a Duc powered p.o.s. I stopped looking.

    LMFAO !

    Same thing i thought.

I give it a thumbs up ..... look ok. Not my cuppa tea, but i give it the credit.

Fact is, if Brooke Henry had anything to do with it, you just know its top shelf gear. The man is amazing in a workshop !!

Is that a little bit or a great deal of brand loyalty slipping in there boys ?
I am not overly sold on the lines of the super squalo but I wouldn't mind a test ride.

It's better to be thought stupid than open your mouth and remove all doubt

Pure speed in sixth gear on a 5,000 foot straightaway is one thing, but pure speed in third gear on a gravel-strewn, downhill, ess turn is quite another.

The only bits I can recognize are the fuel tank and seat so I don't think I'd call it a parts-bin special. It looks a bit bottom heavy with the abbreviated top fairing and the white belly pan. The white belly pan is a Squalo feature (sharks usually have white bellies) so I guess they wanted to incorporate that design feature into this new model. If that was gone it would certainly balance the whole thing (make it look more like a Benelli TNT).

If it were me I'd make those blue mid fairing pieces a bit bigger so they encompass the black air inlet runners, to draw the eye upwards a bit. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh sometime though. The rear section looks ace.

Don't click here to see my ZX9R aka The Ginger Ninja... there's no link!
