    Time to get Nuda?

Saw it at the show , and looked pretty neat. Sat on the thing and it felt good , even on the stand. Photos don't do the fairing setup justice , and it is a very different looking beast.
At 105 bhp [claimed] 898cc ticker, it could be mildly amusing on the road.

I am almost certain that i will get one , I am just going to wait until the yanks and Euros get them to see if anything falls off or detonates before laying down the bux.

The bike invokes a very different opinion between riders , but the hard edging looks fine in my sun damaged eyes, I just hope the massive ADR rear plate holder and 15 metre mirrors don't root it up...

It is reputed to be italian , but it genetics are about as certain as the US dollar right now.

Piccy. [couldn't see a copyright , but will pull it if one exists.

Having so much BMW in it, its unlikely for it to have anything too bad from a reliability point of view. Then again, those wacky ities........

It gave me all sorts of strange feelings in my nethers when I saw it properly, it's so small and skinny.

    I can't wait for a test ride.

I loved it. The pics don't do it justice. I'm booked in for a test ride, but I think that will only be a formality.

how much will it resemble a smashed crab by the time ADR's are finished with it? whats going to happen to that front fender? in its current form, it looks bloody mint, and I'm guessing it would be ludicrous amounts of license exploding fun...

Brute I was checking out the nuda vs that 511 you ordered (well te511, not an smr ) and thought the ergo's were similar looking. Have you got your big bore kit yet for the 610?

The nuda has got a great look about it with the ohlins poking out under the rear. Looks weird from a 45 front angle but yeah overall sweet machine!

Did you book through Pete at the show? He mentioned another buyer that was pretty keen to go!

I am tossing up as to go for the standard 900 as the seat is a little easier to handle , the brakes are a little more forgiving and I am keen on the black. Will decide once they both arrive , as the Ohlins goodies are much more to upgrade than buying new.

I thought it was ugly, not that that would stop me riding one (looks in brute's direction)...like that little wing on the front fender is really gonna help keep the front wheel down.

Did notice it missing one thing, a "please fasten your seatbelt and ensure your tray table is secured, the front wheel is about to land" sign :p

Love the concept. Still think 190 odd kg ready-to-ride is too heavy (175kg dry).

Even so it's definitely on my list for when it's time to replace my current bike.

That dry weight is possibly wrong...

If you looked at the information sheet about the bike it states 174kg...

Looking at the bottom of the sheet in fine print it said something along the lines of...

"Blah, blah, regulations something something, with all fluids and 90% of fuel load"

Now it seemed it was talking about the weight, but I talked to Pete and he didn't know...

Looking at the BMW f800, where the motor comes from, BMW state 179kg(?) dry weight...

    The BMW looks heavier...

Similar weight and a few extra hp when compared to my hypermotard (90hp 172kg) and I don't find it remotely heavy and with the lower naked bike gearing popping wheelies up to balance point at 110km/h or putting a bit of drift into your urban riding isn't all that difficult.

Obviously the overall bike will have major differences to my hypermotard just pointing out that you can't rule out a bikes fun factor or handling because of numbers on paper.

The weight issue has to do with late braking and chucking it into tight corners...

The lack of weight in that situation is a huge advantage...

If you want to just throw wheelies and slide it into corners then any sports or naked bike can do that, just some do it better...

It just disappoints me that they can't get the weight down a bit...

Spent a couple of days looking searching reviews for the Nudey. Most were either cut and pastes off the Husky web page , or a review by a team rider. [incidentally cut and pasted ad nauseum]

Found this one and the site in general is pretty useful to look into if you are chasing info on a certain bike.

Best nu bike of the show IMO. Has "please take away my lisence" written all over it.

So on the eight day, after wasting time faffing about with unimportant guff like heaven & earth & the waters & sky & creatures [& having a wee kip] & man.... God created PSB (GenesiSX-R1000)

Yeah, that looks pretty fun, and the LED headlight is a nice touch.
