Trickle Charger on a 749

Hi,
I am looking at putting a trickle charger on my bike, has anyone done this and can anyone suggest a good location for it? Also can you guys recommend a good one?

Thanks

You only have to put part of the leads on the bike, which are attached to the battery. Be sure to get one which will comfortably charge your battery (amps). And with a reasonably long cord so you don't have to fiddle around with extension cords or move your bike into a silly spot to get to a power point. Something like this: Epicycle Battery Charger

Frasers fit these to all new bikes...........

try a "battery mate junior", costs around $100 for the kit....leads that bolt on to battery terminals, with a plug to suit the charger supplied with it....

Best trickly charger i found was a Battery Doc" just Oz google them, comes woth 2 looms and quick connector, one loom stays on the bike for easy overnight top ups. Also if the dukes anything like a Benelli and Aprilia its best to leave the kill button in when its parked.

The trickle charger comes standard on MV, BUT they don't add logevity to the battery.
There is another type of trickle charger that lets the battery run down then recharge, therefore increasing longevity.
S&T motorcycle art sell these on order. 0417945367 Steve

PS: I am also after a rear hugger for the 749 if anyone has one, I would be happy with a plastic one or a carbon one.

I ended up buying a ctek XS3600 that has a very low ripple so it doesn't hurt the electronics, it has a de-sulphate mode and works like a float charger,I can use it on the car aswell, it is $195 from battery world but ebay is 105 (good old ebay )
thanks for your help.
