Anyone got a Scan Tool?
Anyone got a Scan Tool?
Two's company, three's a race!
I just got my Technoresearch Centurion Scan Tool in the post.
It works on ALL Magneti Marelli ECU's and if anyone is keen to connect it up to their Duke to see what it does, let me know!
Afew of the things it will do:
DTC Code read and Clear
TPS Reset
Idle Fuel Trim
Maintenance Light Reset
Live Data
Actuator Management (Injector Pulse Width, etc)
Etc, etc, etc.
It's a cool tool.

How much was it?
There are two questions in life.
1:Which way do I go
2:Whats the lap record.
AU$1400 approx

Oh yeah!
El Loco does the Centurion do more things than the VDST or is it the same but will ability to to different type ECU's? It looks good but I am aiming towards getting a Nemesis ECU for my Duc and my Laverda has a older Marelli long before CAN and service indicators appeared on bikes!

Rod,
The Centurion does the same things as the VDST but the Pro version does lots of different ECU's, for European manufacturers.
The Pro PLUS version I have upgraded to will do the 'Big Four' jap manufacturers as well but with limited scope. DTC, Live Data, etc.
I've got a Harmonic Belt tension meter as well.

Had a chance to play with it yet?
I'm dumping full race pipes on the Brutale soon and would prob need a check on settings after. (Magneti Marreli 1,6) I've got access to the MV software for tuning, but would be interesting to compare.

cool.
Will let you know once I plumb it in. Thankfully the MM 1,6 doesn't have a lambda sensor!!
