Hi all,
So, I was hoping one of you motoitai guys could clear it up for me why ducati owners will refuse to acknowledge the existence of other riders. I find you're average other rider (bar the small exception) will look over and nod, or say "g'day" through the helmet, show some visible sign of excitement someone is sharing their passion, or wave or something as you either pull up next to them, or go the other way.
I don't think I've EVER seen a ducati owner make so much as a head turn, bar my old man who rides a monster (and maybe Rich, when he was around). I remember when I had my aprilia sxv, I pulled up next to a guy on an 1198R, who wouldn't even turn his head after I said hi or anything. I was all excited because I was one of you, and it still wasn't good enough! I chopped him around the outside, FYI.
I'm curious why this snobbery is?
Even if you say you aren't like that, surely you must know a ducatist that is, feel free to delve in and answer on their behalf.
Do you think you're better than us?
Do you think because you spent more money on your bike that means you are above extending a simple gesture to your riding brethren?
Curious lee is curious
