Subscribed, I'm thinking of this as well!

see if your local bike dealer can help.
we regularly get bikes sent over for approx 350 bucks
just depends if they wanna charge for crating.
oh, and you'll have to pull the bike out of the crate when you get there, and dont know how you would go about the return trip... possible look at getting a dealer to send your bike to a dealer, and reverse for the return trip.
season 2012 is coming.....
I have used Jayde transport a fair while ago and they crated the bike up both ways but i think they only send bikes to Melb
Frasers used to supply and crate up Harleys for bout $100 not sure if they do others
We were thinking of driving to Adl with trailer full of bikes ,ride great ocean and go across to Tassie then back for WSBK and the afterburner ride day
Subscribed. Have been thinking about this too. Considered renting a truck, share the driving and parking it in ADL. Just got to arrange time off too.
Dealer to dealer and vv sounds good.

hmmm.......I'm (hopefully) riding over there. Leaving Perth on Thursday morning (with 2 other FJRs), so anyone wanting to ride...might be leaving it too late for you.
Could be interested in sending the FJR over if someone needs more bikes to make pricing competitive. As far as Adelaide is perfect.
Returning to Perth (leaving Melbourne) am hrs Friday 18th March 2010.
