I see Crutchlow is grumping about Bradley Smith having already been signed for next season at Tech 3 without having done much of note, including riding a MotoGP bike !His early promise on 125s seems to have dissipated, and he's been a dud on a Moto2 this season, so quite why Poncharal signed him up defies belief...Crutchlow is looking elsewhere for next year. Good on him, but he'll have to learn that the last thing Dorna and those other corrupt Spanish fuckwits who have dragged the sport's credibility to its' knees is straight, honest talk from riders ! You only have to see how quickly it turned forum trolls worldwide against Casey Stoner...

Crutchlow will be back in WSBK in two years, along with Spies.

A bold prediction - Yamaha factory supported European based team in WSBK next year with Spies No.1 rider

Bold, but i don't think crutchlow will be out of GP any time soon. SBK would be a step back.

He's one of the few guys who can run at the front, and its only his second year, on a satellite bike. Methinks he's hot property at the moment - Spies and Pedrosa need to pull the finger out, and Suzuki, if they come back next year should snap him up pronto. Ducati may even make him a big offer.

If rossi jumps ship or retires someone will need to fill the gap, and who is there for ducati to choose from?

    Stoner? retired
Pedrosa? Can't win a championship on a honda - would be a long shot
Spies? Doing poorly on a factory Yamaha - same as for pedrosa
    Lorenzo? Signed
Dovi? Maybe... but methinks he won't get along with the due either - melandri and rossi both don't... and he's doing well at yamaha at the moment.

Not a lot of other top riders out there. I think Cal would be stupid to get off a yamaha if there is a seat available, but either Suzuki or Ducati should be trying to snap him up quick smart if he's not signed yet.

Any idea how long dovi is signed to tech 3 for? Maybe he'll get the short end of the stick (again)? Cal has been keeping up him quite handily on a bike with older gear on it and less experience...

Im pretty sure dovi's only signed for this year. He purposely only signed a one year deal so he hopefully can get on the factory yamaha next year.

Crutchlow and Bradl have fallen heavily in FP3. Both in medical centre. Crutchlow walked away from crash, not sure about Bradl. Crutchlow appeared to be favouring his hand/wrist. The new Mrs C doesn't look real happy

Would be surprised if Crutchlow or Spies were anywhere but racing at this level.
Am expecting big things from them over the next 5 or so years.

Rossi and Hayden having identical crashes at the same section of track, that was freaky.

Great to see Bautista on pole.

i think they use a different layout at silverstone. i doubt whether they are that close to prototype times.

I think the ART's have a little less power than the aprilia wsbks, to increase the life of the engine.

Watched these offs on the news and were both strange to see.

Was there oil or debris at that section?

Not sure, but even top end moto 2 is faster than CRT at some places.

The superbikes can use a new engine every race if they like. the ART team is limited to 8 for the season
