My Aussie Ambrose has not warranted much attention this year. Finished 20-something in today's race. I was hoping R. Petty would get M motivated.

Daytona 400 is soon but I don't think I'll be able to make that one. Should be really hot-

He was 23rd after running just outisde the top ten, got fucked on fuel strategy. Again. RPM are the worst pit crew and strategy team in the field.
No matter though, Sonoma is next... you know what happens in road courses...

And Watkins Glen in particular ! Thought after his third at Dover he might finally be on the way... didn't really feel his team change would be offering him a much better chance at a result than his previous arrangement at JTG Daugherty, and sadly it looks like that could be the way of things. But if you're ever in doubt about his right to be there, just read through those who finish behind him each week ! I admire his pluck and tenacity, he could so easily have bailed and come back to race in the V8 Supersnooze again..

I'm still sticking with Ambrose, when he wins it will be that much sweeter.

You are right about that. His time in Formula Ford in England stands testament to that. Signs with a team that turn out to be crap and sucks up all his funding. Finally gets a drive with Van Diemen and proves to be Jenson Buttons equal (at least). At the Formula Ford Festival he leads Button most of the way until rammed from behind (by Button) and gets jammed in (I think) 3rd gear. Button wins the biggest race of the year then goes on to a F1 career. Ambrose runs out of money and goes home to V8's.
