See stoner is already making excuses for laguna! If he is really as sick as he says surely he is a risk to himself and all the other riders on the track, dont they have health and safety in the moto gp.

Did you read the rest of the article? Did you realise he possibly has epstein barr? Did you know Mat Mladin won the 2003 AMA championship battling with Epstein Barr the entire way? He runs on adrenalin, until he has none, then he crashes (hence the whisking off to the med centre immediately after the race).
I believe the guy is sick, and I think it's a bit rough for you to mouthing off the way you are about the guy. I've never seen him be dishonest, I remember him copping it sweet everytime he threw the LCR down the road. I think Stoner is a pretty straight guy, he was level in points the last round, he's got no need to make excuses whatsoever.

Probably! I think he would make our top level national riders look like they were going to the shop for some milk. He's at the top of the sport mixing it with Rossi etc etc.

Imagine if he is so weak and it causes him to crash and any other rider in the close proximity of him if he is so ill he should stand down rather than risk injuring others!
if a rider is willing to travel at over 300kph on a motorbike then dont you think they are not too worried about safety to begin with? i mean casey crashing into one of them will give no different outcome to a highside. close the thread and support your fellow aussie
Nationality does not come into this it is respect for fellow workers after all this is there livelihood.

Doesn;'t matter who the rider is he is a safety issue in this instance
He could not tell you why he's been looking like sweating death at the end of the races and let you make up all sort of form assumptions, or he could let you know he's not well but that he's still going to go out and give it his all for his team.

did you not read my last post? these guys risk there lives each day they go out on the track. its very different to you getting a papercut at work for fuck sake. If it was such a problem the riders and officials would kick up a storm. there is no need for you to bring in work related safety issues when there does not seem to be a problem

Yea he's a danger to all the riders on the track. He stops them from getting the points they don't deserve.

In all honesty he seems to be well enough to ride just not good enough to provide a good fight. After 2 races and now in for the third it gets old. We get it that he is sick... but the whinge has to STOP.
