Channel Ten HD has MotoGP & F1 live in Perth
As per this Ten set to take on Fox in sport | The Australian story, Ten HD will have these events plus others LIVE on their HD channel.
I rang Ten perth to confirm this Sunday's F1 broadcast, and it does indeed start at 2140 WST.
About time motorsports fans were treated better, and not just for the Bathurst race

Now if only a HD tuner didn't cost more than a subscription to foxtel.

If you have a 1/2 decent PC/Laptop you can add HDTV for ~$25 by getting a USB dongle from eBay.

Get a HD tuner for ya PC. You can get digital ones I've noticed. There must be HD ones too.

If you can't afford a HD tuner, how the fuck do you afford bike insurance?

We get HD channels no problem - but the way its all set up with amp, tv, and dvd we can't bloody record them! It probably can be worked out but a job for a lazy non-hungover Sunday.

Me too! Win +1. Full stop, no returns.
Oh...and I've got Foxtel anyway Now I just have to decide whether listening to the Aussie common-taters is worth it to get the better quality picture.

Now if only my HD reception for channel 10 here in this house didn't suck more cock than a $1 ethiopian whore on pay day.
Anyone had any luck with HD signal boosters? Tv has an inbuilt one, have tried an antenna with one... no dice.
I really don't want to put an antenna on the house... tis a rental...
edit:
I can watch 10hd most of the time... it will skip/shit itself occasionally tho, usually when big brother isn't on and there's actually something i wouldn't mind seeing....

It's what the lady at Ten told me....It is usual for the races to start around 20-2100 on a Sunday (talking F1 here) so I took her at her word!
Anyways, it's better than a midnight telecast start, though i'm not quite so sure about the bikes

You can pick up cheap tuners for $80-$100, it won't be a pvr but it'll do the job.

Tell your property manager to get it fixed.

If only I'd bought a cheaper digital card. I bought the DVB-T300 years ago; and it won't let me specify the nvidia drivers for the video processing. Since I only have an AMD 3200+ XP, the cpu just isn't meaty enough to process the image, yet my 6800 GT would be.
Long story short, I can catch a few moving frames every 10 seconds and the sound cuts in and out. :p

Simonpink: nah you don't get it.
Its not that the antenna on/in the roof is shit.
It doesn't exist.
