I'm going to regret this but, how can some one with so much talent on a bike be so boring and dull off it. And by the way most talented road and race riders are at least enthusiastic about racing, and please don't even compare the master ' Doohan ' ( more driven than dare i say it 'Rossi') with Casey. And yes can i even have an opinion with the racers coming out of the UK, maybe not but i've often thought what australians think of the reigning world GP champ

lacking is being polite, but yeah come on your young, famous, have hot-ish wife, world champ, you've beat the best racer in history, money no longer a issue, your in the history books, lighten the f**k up and enjoy, beacause i'm sorry boy ROSSI's coming and even the ducati fans love him!

I'll chirp in with who gives a toss?
He's a bloody good rider, it doesn't instantly make him comfortable in front of the camera.
He says what he has to and gets out of there... He hasn't had the experience of Rossi and certainly doesn't have his flamboyance.
He isn't paid to be on TV, he is paid to ride the shit out of his bike and that is what he does... I couldn't care less if he doesn't appear charismatic on camera.
I actually like the fact that some sportspeople are humble. Just because you are winning now doesn't mean you always will be so there is no need to be cocky now... It will only come back and bite you.

Yeah yeah, but come on the whole gp circus is tv ratings thing and only one man is ' carrying' everyone else. Stoner is with out question out standing on the bike but well... just a little 'who?' off it. Don't think i'm getting into a UK/OZ thing here, i have and always have had a Doohan passion thing goiog on, just wish stoner ( which i remember watching at oulten park when he was 14 ) could enjoy the best years of his life. Would you not smile knowing you beat 'Rossi', the best of the best...Top Gun

Here Here, respect the man (Or Boy) for his talent on the bike, the on camera crap may come later, why is it we Aussie's shoot down our greatest sports people for the most petty reason's.

i wonder if its any of the riders fault or just all the bullshit and rules they get dumped on them - looked at Gobert , even without his drug probs how long would he have lasted in the stifling world of MotoGP , which seems to have gone (abit) the same way as F1........seems the riders in SBK have a bt more personality/freedom?
okay Rossi antics were "funny" but hardly controversal ....
