I have good reason to believe that Yamaha have been left floundering without major sponsorship as FIAT have in fact moved their $$$ over to Ducati. Seems they are more interested in being associated with VR than Yamaha.

That photo was taken before the deal was done. Which was very recently.

P.S I realise those pics were only taken yesterday at Madonna di Campiglio.

Having said all that....I have my doubts due to the AMG deal
The yellow looks a little lost on the bike and the leathers until he actually jumps on the bike, then it gels...
That last photo really shows off the aerodynamic changes. The snub nose and (more) rounded tail really stand out as well as the extra cooling gills for 2011.

I heard a little rumour that they were actually to aid cooling by creating low pressure behind the fairing gills rather than any aerodynamic benefit.
