I'd say it would be even odds and likely the same instant as Rossi slamming into a wall and ending his season early.

Hell yeah, I'd actually forgotten about his little effort last year. Will be interesting to see if he can get in or close to the top five.

That's the first thing I thought too.

I wonder if they give odds on a top3 finishing spot...

The sharing of data has ended on request of Valentino Rossi.
The Yamaha engineers will have access to all the data and so will the tech3 team with the texans competing!!
Where in the world is this leading to?
Yamaha engineers still have access and therefore can divulge it to who ever (Rossi, their expensive wonderbabay!)
Rossi has clearly lost his nerve and is just playing silly buggers.
Lorenzo is not happy and not comenting on the imposed arrangements!
Wonder how long this situation will last!
In the Ducati camp all is good and every bit of info is shared, but still Nicky Hayden is off the pace and off the planet with posting pics of the new bike before the launch!
He was last seen in NewYork at the motorcycle show that was in town looking a bit sheepish!

I dont think Spies will win it on a non factory machine, but will possibly get 3rd overall.

In ducati they share data because they are in a different class.

Why should Rossi help out one of the only people who can realistically beat him

+1 ^ It is with, as I have read some columnists write, Rossi's and Burgess's expertise, that in no small part, got the Yama where it is today. And if I were the manufacturer, and had a talent that sold a million bikes, I would do my utmost to keep them happy, at least for this year. If he (Rossi) does not win this years’ championship, given he is possibly nearing the end of his career, I would treat him very different the next. But why share anything this year? Yamaha should and will squeeze everything out of Rossi, every pole and podium will be very precious as his light fades.

I would show great magnanimity to someone I could beat, but not with someone who is a rival. Casey is a competitive animal and is fast learning how to manipulate the media to his own end, and good for him.

Good odds on Pedrosa and Spies to be sure, but I think this year is Stoner's year.

That's the sort of crap Honda tried with him and look where it got them. I think it made him even more determined to embarass them.
