With the amount of money invested by Japan into the motogp series (honda, yamaha, Suzuki, bridgestone.. And I'm sure plenty more) do you really think, safe or not, they were ever NOT going to Japan?

I don't know if it's safe there or not. But I'm willing to bet even if at 'dangerous' levels, they'd be told otherwise and they'd be riding there.

So many people get in a tizzy about radiation and they know so little about it. If they were racing around the nuclear plant, sure, I'd be staying away, but they are quite a reasonable distance from the site of the incident and there have been independant test stating that the area is safe.
