for those who are still deciding where to go, I suggest the main grandstand and head up to the tower bit at the end. from up there you get a pretty good view across a good part of the track, and when I went there a couple of years ago there were a heap of crashes around the tower bend, which is always spectacular viewing...

In fact we are looking at skipping Saturday morning at the track and booking the wave pool for an hour sometime between 08:00-10:00 to have a surf!

Its a bit exxy so if we can round up a few more tag alongs it would reduce the cost, p.s. Great learners wave

As already mentioned, you can get tix on Sat/Sun, but that's for main stands only. If you think you may want to upgrade to access other stands away from K stands pre purchase as last year they stopped selling upgrades on the Saturday for Sunday. Personally, pre purchase means one less line to queue up for.

Recommend a trip to Hard Rock Cafe on Friday nite at the Continental as Edwards, Rossi,Hayden and some other riders frequent the bar for for a bit of a fan action, good time to pic up a phone pic with a rider, especially if your female!! A good track tip, also is to bring a cooler bag/back pack for track bevies, saves a lot of trips through the queues and you can score ice from the stands as Sunday gets a bit hectic to keep those beers chilled.

p.s don't waste your time bringing water to the track on Sunday as they will confiscate it at the gate, food & drink is more of a rip than the royal show. And that's the only bummer.

We haven't organised transport yet, group of 11. Going to wing it when we get there, I'm sure we'll find a minibus or equivalent to drive us around for the weekend.
