Casey used to crash a lot a few years ago, but yes, he was always very fast. He has become an absolute weapon due to the consistency he found somewhere in the maturing process over recent years. How good is it to have another aussie icon at the zenith of motorcycle racing?
Go Casey you good thing!
As for Rossi - he has always played heavy tactics at a psychological level - but unlike Max and others - Casey, far from cracking, has actually risen to the challenge.
My 2c.

Methinks Stoner was angry, not just with the passing moves per se, but realising that Rossi diodn't have to make the passes stick. All Rossi had to do was crash out WITH Stoner, and thereby preserve his lead in the championship.
I think that's what got Stoner so upset.
Quite a few of Rossi's passes could have taken Stoner out. Where do you draw the line between hard riding & rubbing fairings, and "Bugger this, if I can't win, you won't win either"
IMHO.

True to a point, but Rossi seems to get off on racing like that. He seems to exel when the bar is raised and I truly believe he enjoyed that race, even if he came second.

stoner is an imature young man.
in a few years time he will watch the race and realise that it was hard fair racing!
if we could see that type of racing every weekend then we would be fu**en lucky!
just enjoy it wait till the angry spainyard ( pedrobot) gets back into the action the stoner will be able to cry about someone else!
