I read in AMCN last night (reader's letters) that foxtel wont be airing the Motogp. Anybody know if they'll be playing it delayed or are they not airing at all.

WIN may have it on, they mix between 9 and 10

10 is delayed most of the time, some will be live according to the event.
OneHD is live.

The agreement includes all MotoGP races and all supporting 125cc and 250cc races broadcast LIVE on Network Ten’s 24-hour sport channel, ONE, from 2010. Network Ten will simulcast LIVE the Australian MotoGP round from Philip Island as well as other MotoGP events in the Australasian time zone and those taking place in America. All other MotoGP races will be broadcast on same-day delay on TEN around 11 pm.

Yeah I read what you quoted. I don't have foxtel, but have had all the digital channels since they started. Last season, with the exception of Phillip Island, I can't remember any race being truly 'live' on Ch10/One/OneHD. Always had to avoid the spoilers from the boys with foxtel on PSB.

Will wait & see I guess.

Yeah, will have to send an email off to Win.
Talk about giving me the shit's though. We only got foxtel so I could see all the Motogp and WSBK races live.
Now it sounds like we'll have to buy a new tele (old one cant do it) and some reciever thingy.

Thats right, what you saw last year will be similar this year on Ch10.

It'll be broadcast live, just like they did for UFC 110.
They'll also probably broadcast on ch10 a delayed telecast.

Wonder how much my ears are going to hurt listening to Daryl Beattie. Hopefully they'll pass over to the track side commentators once the racing starts.

Here's hoping they can negotiate a similar deal with WSBK as well, it'd be good to have it on free-to-air again.

ch10 / 1 or whoever its is will have to recoup the cost of getting Moto GP somehow... ADVERTS and lots of them

Fox shows it uninterrupted, but I rather doubt that OneHD will do so. Still, they'll get better cover than Foxtel, and earlier targets than the traditional Ten delay. But bad as he is...and he is, Beattie is much less of a problem than the infuriating Greg Rust....
